At the packed Pantheon cinema hall in Nicosia, Cyprus, the awards for the winners of the Co-education program 2023-2024 were presented on the evening of Sunday, June 16, 2024. The event concluded a marathon of documentary screenings created by students. Several schools received awards, and the documentaries covered various aspects of Cypriot history and culture. The program is implemented as part of the mission of the nonprofit cultural organization AEI AUDIOVISUAL FORUM, aiming to develop young people's skills in cultural heritage and audiovisual literacy, contributing to critical thinking and empathy. The program is co-implemented with the UNESCO Associated Schools Network in Cyprus and the Ministry of Education, and it is sponsored by the Department of Contemporary and Modern Culture of the Ministry of Culture of Cyprus, the Cyprus National Commission for UNESCO, and the Cyprus Radio Television Authority. All this year's documentaries are available on the website www.aei-filmfestival.org.
